Email Your Students
Now it's even easier to communicate with your students! You can send email to any or all of your students and their parents through Music Teacher's Helper! Use email to send announcements, congratulate your student for a job well done, or even write your own monthly newsletter!
Use colors, different font faces and sizes, and smiley faces to spice up your emails. You can even send attachments!
Templating
You can also use templated variables to send one email to several students, each with their own personal information. For example, you can select "Student's First Name" from the list of variables, and when you send the email, it will automatically put your student's name in place of the variable!
Filters
You can setup filters, to email only certain students based on:
- Status (active student, former student, or waiting list)
- Parents & adult students, or child students
- A specific instrument or school
- Any individual student (you can check the ones you want to send to)
Email History
Music Teacher's Helper also stores a record of when you sent each message and who it was to, so you don't have to worry about sending duplicate messages.
Automatic (Custom) Emails
Music Teacher's Helper will also let you send automatic reminders about lessons or other events. You can also tell it to send automatic payment receipts when you enter a payment, notes and lesson assignments, and even a student welcome letter when you activate a student! Plus, all of these automatic emails are completely customizable.
How To Email
- You can send email to your students by clicking the "Students" menu, then "Email Students".
- Your students can email you by clicking the "Home" menu, then "Email Teacher".
- To Edit the automatic email templates, click "Home", then "Email Templates".
