Success - a long hard climb



I was staying with a school teacher in North Carolina. One day she invited me to sit in on her classes in a school in the poverty stricken tobacco district. Here this image immediately caught my eyes - having already witnessed the dismal prospects of the tobacco pickers. My white friend, by the way, later married a millionaire friend of mine.
