My
longest working friendship
I
met Tony in Greensboro
in 1973 while he was
counseling prisoners
and addicts - tired of
being one himself. We
found that we had
almost the same views
on everything and over
the years I used his
house as a home base in
the area. When my show
became a success in
Denmark, Tony was the
first one who came
over to join me - the
beginning of
our work
collective. For 8
years he ran my show
in 14 countries and
then moved with me
back to America to
open up our theater in
San Francisco. From
then on our work
relationship got even
deeper as we went
around for years doing
shows and
workshops
together. Presently he
is continuing this
work by taking over
Dr. Charles King's
intensive oppression
workshops.
