Revisiting
the
Never
Again
The
theme
for the
23rd
commemoration
of the
1994
genocide
in
Rwanda
was
“Let's
remember
the
Genocide
against
the
Tutsi
and
fight
against
its
ideology."
The
theme
was
proposed
by the
Rwandan
National
Commission
for the
fight
against
genocide.
The
Embassy
of the
Republic
of
Rwanda
in
collaboration
with
Crossing
Borders
invited
to hear
expert
reflections
and
perspectives
on the
“Never
Again
Pledge”
by the
international
community
following
the WW
II
Holocaust
in light
of the
ongoing
aforementioned
tragedies
anno
2017.
Among
the
experts,
was the
Danish
historian
and
former
Editor
in Cheif
of
Politiken
Newspaper,
Bo
Lidegaard
and the
Rwandan
reseracher
Tom
Ndahiro.
It took
place in
the
Ubuntu
House on
May 31st
