Zimbabwe: Peasant family in the North



When I hitchhiked around Zimbabwe in 1982 to find projects American Pictures could support it got dark on my long walk through bush to get to Batsiranai. I ended up spending the night with this family in a traditional African hut. As usual they would slaughter their only chicken for the guest. It was too impolite to be a vegetarian here.
