The notorious Klan leader Jeff Berry had invited me to visit after seeing me in a Tv-program, but when I finally arrived a year later, he had been sentenced to 30 years in prison. So I decided instead to move in with his wife, Pamela, now America’s biggest functioning Klan leader. That was the start of a long friendship during which I brought even black friends with me to help free her husband from prison and myself became the Klan’ web master. I write about all this in my new book, Roots of oppression.”
