Love disguised as a hatred.
Example 1: |
|
|
|
|
In
bed with the Klan? Yes indeed, but I have rarely met more
hospitable human beings, who to such degree live up to
Jesus’ request to love and serve our enemies. Here Raine is
telling me that she is a double murderer. |
|
Raine
and Billy put on their Klan costumes in their double
house-trailer. |

38.
An
example of the Klan’s depressing internal violence, that I
experienced in the attempted murder on my best Klan girlfriend,
Raine. She had read my web sites about the Ku Klux Klan and
invited me to her home “as I have a university degree in sociology
and have studied the members in our group and came to the same
conclusion as you, about abused children”. One day, as she served me
my morning coffee in bed, she suddenly told me about her own two
prison verdicts. Although she was only 20 years old, she had
murdered two people. When she was 14 years old she ran away from a
violent racist father, she became an anti-racist skinhead and lived
with some Mexican girls in a garage in Los Angeles, when she in self
defense killed a Mexican drug gangster. At the age of 17, and after
spending two years in prison, she shot a 17 year old white
anti-racist “also in self defense”, but “good Christian Klan
people” had then made her realize that life was about being good to
other people, rather than killing them. |

|
Raine
with her large collection of books, particularly dominated
by feminist literature. Of all the Klan member’s I have
met, her home is the only one with other books than the
bible. |
|
Raine
in her “home office”. She is a well known writer on the
internet, in her defense for KKK’s woman and homosexuals
rights. |
|
39.
First they sent her on a six month
missionary work in Africa, and after that they got her into the Klan
where she made a fast track career, and now made it her goal to
become the first female Klan leader in USA. She was the Klan leader
Griffin’s speaker, writer and brain and the only well read Klan
member I have met. She is a confirmed feminist and pro-homosexual
activist as “there is too much homophobia in the Klan” she said. (I
could have added, exactly like in the other whites in the South).
Yet when I asked her if she would allow me to put my pictures from
the group’s Klan meetings, on my website, she asked me to wait, even
though Klan people normally love when I display them and give them
the attention the whole KKK membership is all about. The problem was
that she was at the time, actively applying for the dream job of her
life, as a social worker for black criminals in the local state
prison, and you cannot work for the state if you are a member of the
Ku Klux Klan. |
|
|
|
|
Klan
people enjoy dressing their “anti-racism-enemies” in their
own symbols. Like Raine, they have often belonged to
anti-racist groups- or will do so, a short while after they
leave the Ku-Klux-Klan. |
|
Billy, who grew up with a practically illiterate poor single
mother, is proud to have a wife who can read and even have a
two year university degree from a hill-billy university. |
|
40.
But
what was the real reason behind her wish to be “kind to the
blacks?” A childhood damage that she shared with incredible many
other Klan members. As a poor white, she grew up on the” wrong side
of the tracks” among the blacks in the ghettos. Going to a 95% black
school most of her friends were black. Yet, she was never allowed to
bring school friends home because of her hateful father. His reason
was: “they are all criminals and drug addicts”. It is a sad fact,
that marginalized ghetto-children all over the world do not become
the best behaving kids. Yet when she saw in Africa how disciplined
and well behaving the eager to learn children were there, she
started de-constructing her American racism - the one seeing blacks
as innately "criminal". So after her traumatic childhood, she now
harbored a dream of helping her childhood friends becoming “better
human beings”, having experienced, in Africa, that blacks could be
very different. After a short education, she now had the chance to
prove that theory in prison, because ”if the blacks become good
human beings, there is no longer a need for the Ku Klux Klan to
protect the white race against crime and drugs” as she reasoned,
fairly logical and yes…loving. |

Scott, who was behind the attempted murder and rape on Raine,
which almost cost her her life. Here Raine has put him on
the Klan’s list as a speaker. |
|
Raine
as an official in the prison, where the black inmates loved
her and did not want her to leave, even though they knew she
was an active Ku Klux Klan member. |
|
41.
Six months later, I
suddenly saw on the internet: “The brutal rape and murder of Raine”.
When I deeply shaken placed a call to her home, she answered the
phone herself.. She told me that after several blood transfusions
had survived the rape and attempted murder by David L. and Scott B.,
as I had previously photographed as an active Klan member , at one
of the few periods in time where he was not in prison for drug
crimes. At the trial David was sentenced to prison as the one who
riddled Raine with bullets, but shortly after he was murdered in
prison. |
|
|
|
|
Raine shows off her
enormous collection of arms. She loves guns and I believe
that it was not completely accidental that she, at the
tender age of 17, already had committed two murders. |
|
After
the attempted murder on her, Raine collected even more
weapons. When I arrive to her home late at night, I wisely
sleep in my car, in order to avoid being confused with a
robber. |
|
42.
During her long
hospitalization and the trial, Raine could no longer hide that she
was an active member of the Ku Klux Klan, and she was fired, but all
the black inmates revolted in order to get her re-employed. She was
actually their most popular social worker.
“Are you not aware that she is in the KKK?” the prison asked the
inmates. “Oh yes”, the inmates replied, “we knew that all the time”.
In fact the prison offer “gang awareness training” in order to keep
the blacks out of the gangs when they are released from prison, but
in the southern prisons the Ku Klux Klan is just considered to be a
poor (white) gang, which is just what it is.. Therefore the inmates
recognized Raine’s full figure, when they were watching a video with
pictures of a local Klan group. This however, made her only more
popular among the blacks, that she was a gang member- just like they
were. |

|
The
in love Klan-couple in 2003, just before their wedding, that
I didn’t attend, because Raine had just been shot. |
|
The,
still in love couple, who has now left Ku Klux Klan.
|
|
43. That somebody in
the Klan had attempted to murder Raine, she herself believed was due
to accusations that she was a traitor. People in the Klan had no
objections to her self-sacrificing work for the blacks, but the most
ignorant claimed that it was only possible, if she was an informer
for the state. She continued her idealistic work with “improving the
blacks” in spite of her knowledge, that she with ill-natured rumors,
now put her own life at risk, for the sake of the blacks.
This is what I call “Love disguised as hate”. Opposite it is racism
when Danes express “hate disguised as caring” towards e.g. oppressed
Muslims woman wearing head scarf’s, without an attempt to make
friends with the woman, and gain knowledge of their motives,
traditions and cultures. Today Raine and her husband Billy have left
the Ku Klux Klan, and instead they are expressing their love through
their local church, in which Billy is in training to be a pastor.
